Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
Lush green and strikingly beautiful foothills are home to the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is the smallest wildlife reserve in Goa. The sanctuary is home to the sambar deer, gaur (Indian bison), the black-faced langur, jackals, different species of snakes and wild boar, amongst other animals.
The sanctuary also has a botanical garden, a rose garden and a small deer-park. This reserve is also a treat for keen bird watchers and butterfly spotters.
